The latency under CoreAudio (MacOsX) no longer depends on the card's hardware buffer. Therefore, with faster computers, it is now possible to use the DIGI96 series cards at latencies down to 1.5 ms (64 samples), while under OS 9.x and Windows the lowest latency is 5.8 ms.
